Nurse Practitioner - Allergy & Immunology, Part-time (up to 29 hrs/wk), Lubbock, TX 79407Job Summary:AllerVie is hiring a Part-time Nurse Practitioner for our 19th Street clinic in Lubbock, TX. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary care to patients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.Duties/Responsibilities:Conduct physical exams and take medical historiesDiagnose and treat common illnesses and injuriesPrescribe medications and other treatmentsOrder and interpret diagnostic testsDevelop and implement treatment plansCounsel patients on health and wellnessCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsQualifications, Education and Experience:Master's degree in nursingCurrent state license as a Nurse PractitionerCertification as a Nurse PractitionerExperience in primary careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAttention to detail and accuracyWhen you join AllerVie, you join a crucial workforce that provides meaningful care and service to our allergy patients.
