- Will position float between units: No
- Is on-call required? No
- Are weekends required? Yes 3 x 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday
- Are block schedules required? Yes
- What are expected ratios? 1
- Special requirements: We are proposing 3 12 hour night shifts Fri-Sun. Night shift is required, we can possibly adjust the days if the candidate has something that works better for them.
- Are 48 hours approved: No

Job Requirements
Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or 'Heart&Stroke' certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY. Must check UD to verify certifications required. If no UD is linked, defer to Clinical Tracks.
Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS). Must check UD to verify certifications required. If no UD is linked, defer to Clinical Tracks.
Schedule Information
-3 x 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday
- Night shift is required

Unit Specific Information
- The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire.
