Position Description
The Texas Tech University Postgraduate Intercollegiate Athletics
Internship is intended to provide on-the-job learning experiences
for college graduates interested in pursuing a career in various
areas of intercollegiate athletics. This program can last 12-36
months.
Future leaders will gain experience in using principles such
as:
- Applying a standard of ethics to policy and administrative
context
- Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of current operations
within area of assignment
- Communicating relevant information and ideas
- Managing university resources to achieve organizational goals

Major/Essential Functions
The Learning Assistance Program (LAP) serves as a resourceful
support system to aid in the academic development of
student-athletes. Our comprehensive program addresses individual
learning needs and concerns, fostering independent learning and
skill development both inside and outside the classroom. We are
dedicated to supporting student-athletes in their pursuit of
academic excellence, personal growth, and professional
development.
Specific Expectation
Required Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an
accredited university and previous experience with collegiate or
professional athletics.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the
individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring
department, as well as the institutional pay plan. For additional
