  • Assess and triage pediatric patients in the emergency room.
    
  • --Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    
  • --Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
    
  • --Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
    
  • --Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
    
  • --Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
    
  • --Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
    
  • --Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments.
    
  • --Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
    
  • --Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
    
  • --Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
    
  • --Assist with the stabilization and transfer of critically ill patients.

    Qualifications:

    • --Current RN license in the state of practice.
      
    • --Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
      
    • --Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
      
    • --Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
      
    • --Strong knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols.
      
    • --Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      
    • --Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
      
    • --Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
      
    • --Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move patients.
